Welcome to MiniMoo AI! We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and delete your data when you use the MiniMoo AI mobile application.

MiniMoo AI is operated from Gujarat, India. By using the app you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide our services:

Photos and Images: Photos you choose to upload from your photo library or capture with your camera, used as the source for AI image and video generation.
Videos: Reference videos you upload for AI video creation.
Generated Content: Images and videos created through the app, stored so you can view, download, and share them from the in-app gallery.
Text Prompts: The descriptions, instructions, and prompts you provide to generate custom images and videos.
Account Data: An anonymous account identifier, your coin balance, and your purchase and generation history.
Device Information: Basic device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version, used to ensure optimal app performance.
Usage Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage data used to diagnose crashes and improve app stability.

Face Data

Because MiniMoo AI creates stylized portraits from photos of babies and children, the photos you upload will usually contain a face. We treat these photos with particular care, and this section explains exactly how they are handled.

What we do not do. MiniMoo AI does not use Apple's ARKit, the TrueDepth camera, or any face-tracking, face-detection, face-mapping, or face-recognition API. We do not create, derive, extract, or store faceprints, facial geometry, facial landmarks, biometric templates, or any other mathematical representation of a face. We do not use facial features to identify, authenticate, verify, match, or track any individual, and we do not build or maintain any face database. We never use face data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or ad targeting, and we never sell, rent, or license it.

What we actually process. When you select a photo from your library or take one with the camera, that ordinary photographic image is uploaded to our storage and transmitted to our third-party AI generation provider. If a face is present in the photo, it is used by the AI model solely to render the stylized image or video you requested from the template you selected. The face is never separated from the photo, analysed as biometric data, or used for any other purpose.

Where it is stored. Uploaded photos and videos are stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage. During generation, they are transmitted over encrypted TLS connections to our third-party AI image and video generation provider, whose processing infrastructure is located outside India. Account records and app configuration data are held on Google Firebase.

Who it is shared with. Photos containing faces are shared only with our third-party AI generation provider and our cloud storage provider, both acting strictly as processors on our instructions and bound by contract to process the media only to fulfil your generation request. They are not shared with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or any other third party.

Equal protection by third parties. Every third party with whom we share face data is contractually required to provide the same or equal protection of that face data as described in this Privacy Policy. Each is bound to the same limits on collection, use, sharing, retention, and deletion set out here. No third party is permitted to use face data for its own purposes, to disclose or transfer it onward, to use it for advertising, marketing, profiling, or model training, or to retain it beyond the periods stated below. We review each provider's data protection terms before integration and remove providers that cannot meet this standard.

How long it is kept.

On our storage: uploaded source photos and videos are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of upload.
On our AI generation provider's systems: media submitted for generation is retained for up to 14 days under that provider's retention policy, after which it is permanently deleted. Their technical logs, which record request metadata rather than your media, are retained for up to 2 months.
Generated output images and videos remain available in your in-app gallery until you delete them or request deletion of your data.

Training. We do not use your uploaded photos, the faces within them, or your generated content to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model of our own.

Deletion. You can delete any generated image or video from the in-app gallery at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app, or by emailing [email protected]. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Generate AI-powered images and videos based on your prompts, selected templates, and uploaded media
Apply pre-built motion templates to your uploaded photo to produce AI-generated videos
Provide and maintain the MiniMoo AI service, including your coin balance and generation history
Diagnose crashes and improve app stability using anonymous, aggregated usage data
Provide customer support and respond to your enquiries
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms and Conditions
Send service updates and promotional messages, where you have given consent

We do not use your photos, videos, or the faces within them to train or improve AI models.

Legal Basis for Processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:

Performance of a contract: to deliver the generation service you request and to manage purchases
Consent: for camera and photo library access, promotional notifications, and the processing of photos containing a child's face, which you provide as parent or guardian
Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve app stability
Legal obligation: where retention or disclosure is required by law

You may withdraw consent at any time by revoking permissions in your device settings, disabling notifications in the app, or deleting your account.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

All data transmission is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols
Uploaded media and generated content are stored in access-controlled cloud environments and served over signed, time-limited URLs
Access to stored data is limited to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis
We regularly review and update our security practices

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services:

Uploaded source photos and videos: automatically deleted from our storage within 24 hours of upload; deleted from our AI generation provider's systems within 14 days
Generated images and videos: retained until you delete them from the in-app gallery or request deletion of your data
Text prompts and generation history: retained while your account is active
Account and purchase records: retained while your account is active, and for up to 7 years after deletion where required for tax, accounting, or legal obligations
Anonymous analytics: retained in aggregated form that cannot identify you

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following categories of third-party providers to operate the app. Each acts as a processor on our instructions and is bound by data protection terms.

AI Image and Video Generation: a third-party AI platform that receives your uploaded media and prompts solely to generate the requested output
Cloud Storage: Cloudflare R2, used to store uploaded and generated media
App Infrastructure: Google Firebase, used for account records, app configuration, and push notifications
Analytics and Crash Reporting: anonymous, aggregated diagnostics used to improve app stability
Payments: purchases are processed by Apple and Google. We do not receive or store your payment card details

Every provider listed above is contractually required to protect your data to the same or an equal standard as described in this Privacy Policy, and may process it only on our instructions and only to deliver the features you request.

International Data Transfers

We operate from India and our cloud storage and AI generation providers process data on servers located outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we use providers that offer appropriate contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your data.

Reference Media and Consent

When you upload photos or videos that include a recognizable person, you represent that you have the right to use that media and, where required, the consent of the person depicted for AI processing and generation. Please do not upload media you do not own or have permission to use.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access: Request a copy of your personal data
Correction: Update or correct your information
Deletion: Delete your account and data in the app, or request deletion by email
Portability: Export your data in a standard format
Objection: Object to certain processing activities
Withdraw consent: Withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting processing already carried out
Complain: Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

Children's Privacy

MiniMoo AI is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. It is designed for parents and guardians to create images of their own babies and children. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

If you upload a photo or video featuring a child, you confirm that you are the parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorised to provide that media for AI processing, and you consent to that processing on the child's behalf. If you believe a child has provided us with information, or that we have collected information improperly, contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

Posting the new Privacy Policy on this page
Sending you a notification through the app for material changes
Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
